Effect of Chemical and Mechanical Weed Management on Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) Production and Relative Composition of Weed under Varanasi Region, Uttar Pradesh

A two-year field experiment was conducted on potato crop to evaluate the bio-efficacy of herbicides, suitable doses and their feasibility with mechanical weed control method in terms plant height, number tubers relative composition weeds. The arranged a randomized complete block design (RCBD) three replications at vegetable research farm Department Horticulture, Institute Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, during winter season 2017-18 2018-19. Randomly selected five plants were used as sample for recording height average per each plot. Plant measured 30, 45, 60 DAS harvest then averaged expressed centimetres.
